So it has to be said...yup, I am now a grandma ;) I've had a few friends online wonder how I could be a grandma at my age. I just answer that with "that's what step-children will do to you" LOL! I don't care, she's so beautiful and we are all so proud of her. She's going to have a lot of people oooh-ing and ahhh-ing over her for a very long time. We didn't have a very successful session during the 2 days of trying. That's fine though we'll have plenty of more photo opportunities throughout the years to come.
Here she is with daddy. While I was photographing her, he was like a mother hen. Kept coming in and checking on her...it was so sweet to see him with her.
I love the dramatic light here.
Here she is with her pretty momma. I am so going to enjoy watching these two bond together. I can see these two riding the horses together and hanging at the barn. Shauna will have her own little sidekick.
My heart just melts when I look at these. She is such a precious little girl.
Another talented photographer friend of mine made me this beautiful little bonnet and sent it to me. Thanks Heather!

Tyler {2010 Senior Sneak Peek}
I was running on almost 24 hours of no sleep before Tyler's session. I was at the hospital all night waiting for the birth of our grand-daughter. I made it home in time though :) Had a great session. Tyler was cooperative and even had props ready. We grabbed his soccer ball and jersey on the way but he had his snowmobile all set-up for the session. When he asked if he could possibly get some pictures taken with his tractor, I was like sure why not! He said he had to call for it because it was being used that morning on the farm. I said ok, go ahead we'll work it in. Then the thought crossed my mind...how big is this thing? He said big! It was too! I don't have a full shot of it here but you get the idea of how large this monster is. It was pretty cool.
I love the processing on this one!

Matt {2010 Senior Sneak Peek}
I'm pretty excited about my new blog and Matt gets to be my first post on it LOL! Matt was very easy going and had no problem doing what I asked...even when I wanted him to spin a basketball on his finger. The only problem he had with that was he didn't know he was going to have to do that or he would have practiced LOL! Enjoyed my session with him and thought he did a great job!

Ashlee {2010 Senior Sneak Peek}
I can't believe we finally got this session in LOL! I had to squeeze her into my schedule. I photographed her sister's senior pictures, her sister's maternity and then the newborn so it was only right I photograph Ashlee. Then because of rain we had to reschedule a few times but we finally were able to work it out. I had a great time and she was so easy to photograph, very natural.

Marie {2010 Senior Sneak Peek}
I've been blessed again! Another high school friend's daughter. . . isn't she beautiful?! Marie was very down to earth and a total country girl. I had a great time during our session. . .well until the rain came LOL Oh and Marie you were right as soon as we drove away the sun came out LOL! Looking forwad to finishing up our session on Saturday.
You look just like your mom here back when we were in high school together.
A little something different - vintage blue

Paige {2010 Senior Sneak Peek}
As soon as we met at the location, it started to rain! We decided to give it a try anyway because it would rain a little and then stop, then rain a little then stop. It was pretty cold too. We sat in the nice heated vehicle while we waited the rain out so it wasn't too too bad. Easy for me to say, I had a sweatshirt on LOL We did manage to finish up Paige's session though which is all that matters!
