Sweet Sydney

My second repeat client....Miss Sydney who obviously loves being the super model. It was pretty chilly and she came prepared with her adorable jacket, mittens, scarf and even ear muffs. We managed to get a few locations in but even super models get cold and reach their limit with this New York weather ;) I'm running a little behind on proofing due to a nasty cold but I'll get her full gallery up in the next week or so.

Lynsie {2010 Senior Sneak Peek}

We had decent weather for Lynsie's session. Anyone from around here knows it was hit or miss all Summer long as well as Fall. Lynsie is a broadcasting student so it was only right to have a few shots with her camera. I love how they turned out! Had a great time working with you Lynsie and hope you have a great rest of your senior year!

One of my favorites to photograph {Teen Sneak Peek}

Some of you might recognize her. If not, look up at the flash header. I'll give you a hint...red dress ;) It was 2 years ago she made me famous with the "ballerina shot" LOL! Well I don't know about famous but all my photography friends remember that shot - it's definitely a favorite of mine. I was very happy to be photographing Amanda again. She's so easy to work with and I loved her clothing choices. It was pretty chilly, well if I remember correctly it was pretty darn cold the first session we had together too. Do me a favor when we do your senior pictures in two years call me in the spring or summer when it's warm LOL! Anyways, I'm still working on your session and this is probably a little of an overshare. It's not even going to come close to the overshare that will be in your gallery. When I'm talking you had a great session...I mean you had a great session! Good luck choosing Mom ;)

Introducing Peyton Rayne {Officially a Grandma}

So it has to be said...yup, I am now a grandma ;) I've had a few friends online wonder how I could be a grandma at my age. I just answer that with "that's what step-children will do to you" LOL! I don't care, she's so beautiful and we are all so proud of her. She's going to have a lot of people oooh-ing and ahhh-ing over her for a very long time. We didn't have a very successful session during the 2 days of trying. That's fine though we'll have plenty of more photo opportunities throughout the years to come.

Here she is with daddy. While I was photographing her, he was like a mother hen. Kept coming in and checking on her...it was so sweet to see him with her.

I love the dramatic light here.

Here she is with her pretty momma. I am so going to enjoy watching these two bond together. I can see these two riding the horses together and hanging at the barn. Shauna will have her own little sidekick.

My heart just melts when I look at these. She is such a precious little girl.

Another talented photographer friend of mine made me this beautiful little bonnet and sent it to me. Thanks Heather!

Tyler {2010 Senior Sneak Peek}

I was running on almost 24 hours of no sleep before Tyler's session. I was at the hospital all night waiting for the birth of our grand-daughter. I made it home in time though :) Had a great session. Tyler was cooperative and even had props ready. We grabbed his soccer ball and jersey on the way but he had his snowmobile all set-up for the session. When he asked if he could possibly get some pictures taken with his tractor, I was like sure why not! He said he had to call for it because it was being used that morning on the farm. I said ok, go ahead we'll work it in. Then the thought crossed my mind...how big is this thing? He said big! It was too! I don't have a full shot of it here but you get the idea of how large this monster is. It was pretty cool.

I love the processing on this one!

Matt {2010 Senior Sneak Peek}

I'm pretty excited about my new blog and Matt gets to be my first post on it LOL! Matt was very easy going and had no problem doing what I asked...even when I wanted him to spin a basketball on his finger. The only problem he had with that was he didn't know he was going to have to do that or he would have practiced LOL! Enjoyed my session with him and thought he did a great job!

Angela {2010 Senior Sneak Peek}

It was great working with Angela, unfortunately our weather wasn't so cooperative. The second time around was much easier when you don't have hair flying all over...the wind was horrendous wasn't it? Wow! Anyway I was very happy with our second set. Here's a little sneak peek!

Ashlee {2010 Senior Sneak Peek}

I can't believe we finally got this session in LOL! I had to squeeze her into my schedule. I photographed her sister's senior pictures, her sister's maternity and then the newborn so it was only right I photograph Ashlee. Then because of rain we had to reschedule a few times but we finally were able to work it out. I had a great time and she was so easy to photograph, very natural.
